Seasonal Update: Refreshing Baby's clothing for Fall

As the temps drop and the weather changes it’s time to think about updating your baby’s wardrobe for fall. Fall is such a great season with pumpkin spice lattes, apple picking and cozy sweaters. And while your little one may not be sipping lattes just yet; they can still enjoy the season in style and comfort. Here’s how to update your little one’s closet for fall:

Assess Current Clothing: First things first, go through what you already have. Go through their drawers and closets and assess what they have. Set aside anything they’ve outgrown or won’t be suitable for the cooler weather.
Add Cozy Layers: Fall is all about layers and this is especially true for babies. Go for long sleeve onesies, soft sweaters and cozy cardigans that can be added or removed as the temps fluctuate. Look for pieces made from breathable, natural fabrics like bamboo or cotton to keep your baby comfy.
Outerwear: As the weather gets cooler your baby will need a warm coat or jacket. Choose one that’s easy to put on and take off with snaps or zippers for quick changes during diaper changes. And don’t forget a soft, knitted hat to keep their little head warm and cute.
Get Baby Leggings and Pants: Baby leggings and pants are a must for fall. Look for ones that are cute and practical. Elastic waistbands and stretchy fabrics will make dressing your little one a snap. Get a few pairs of fleece-lined leggings for those extra cold days.
Add Some Cute Footwear: Tiny baby booties or soft-soled shoes are perfect for keeping those little feet warm and toasty. Look for ones that are easy to put on and stay on. And you may want to get a pair of rain boots for those wet autumn days when puddle jumping is inevitable.
Go for Fall Colors and Prints: When updating your baby’s wardrobe don’t forget to go for the colors and prints of the season. Think warm, earthy tones like rust, mustard and forest green. Cute animal prints, plaid and pumpkin motifs can add a fall touch to your baby’s outfits.
Stock Up on Essentials: Make sure you have a good supply of baby basics like onesies, bodysuits and sleepers in various sizes. Babies grow fast and you’ll want to have a good stock of these on hand.
